Muse Developments has submitted a planning application to Cheshire East Council to bring forward WestonM6 – a 1.3 million ft² highly sustainable logistics and business park, near Crewe in the Northwest.
As part of the ‘hybrid’ submission, it is seeking detailed approval for the first phase of regeneration, which will include three high-quality industrial buildings totalling approximately 750,000ft².
The 64-acre site is expected to provide up to 2,900 jobs and generate an additional £3.4m in business rates.
As part of the wider regeneration, there will be a range of amenities for the community, including landscaped nature areas, a 3km active walking trail and a wildlife ‘pocket’ park.
Alan McBride, Projects Director, said: “We’re bringing forward WestonM6 with landowners, The Witter Trust and the Co-operative.”
